In Person Mentoring

Over the past 15 years of teaching, the #1 desire I hear from artists is to be able to create a cohesive body of work. It’s such a buzz phrase! What exactly is it? And if we manage to finally create one, what will happen to our careers? Will it be what we hope?

This ongoing mentoring program has been designed to explore these questions. To provide an environment conducive to bringing forth the voice of each painter, and to give a practical framework on this elusive journey.

Wherever you are on this creative continuum, beginner or advanced we will work together to get you the information and practice you need to grow. We may focus on honing your technique, uncovering your voice, or building a body of work. We will explore these subjects in an environment of curiosity and inspired limitation, designed to foster authenticity and independent thinking.

I will paint alongside my mentees when time allows, and share with them my own journey of building a body of work, and uncovering my most authentic voice.

How it Works

• A semi- private class with a max of five students.

• Mentoring will take place two Saturdays each month at my San Francisco studio, 1pm-4pm
